Do you want to practice your Finnish in a relaxed atmosphere, meet new people and get to know Finnish culture? Sumppi combines language learning, community and everyday encounters. You can participate on site or online – wherever you are!

Come join us – let's learn language and culture together

Sumppi -language café is an open meeting place for everyone who wants to learn Finnish and get to know other people. Native Finns, multilingual people and immigrants are warmly welcome – in the language café, people learn together, speak Finnish and share everyday experiences.

We are doing nice things together such as:
🍲 cook food and bake
🎵 listen to music or sing together
🎨 make arts and crafts
🎲 play games or go outdoors
💬 discuss different topics in finnish

The activities are relaxed and practical. You don't need perfect language skills, the most important thing is participation and working together. Language cafes are suitable for all language levels.

We also organize online language cafes that you can participate in from the comfort of your own home!
