What is WiNK -project?<\/h3><\/div>

WiNK \u2013 Work in North Karelia<\/strong> is a province-wide development project that aims to support immigrants' integration, learning Finnish, and access to work or education<\/strong>. The project brings together educational institutions, municipalities, the welfare region, organizations, and companies.<\/p><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

              Sumppi \u2013 Language caf\u00e9 activities at folk high schools as part of the WiNK project <\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

              Sumppi \u2013 A Cup of Finland<\/strong> is part of the Kitee and Lieksa folk high schools' own sub-project. Its aim is to increase inclusion, community spirit and practical language skills<\/strong> through language cafes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Language caf\u00e9s are organized in different parts of North Karelia in cooperation with, among others, municipal immigrant coordinators, ELO project employees and associations<\/strong>. Folk high schools support local actors in planning, content and guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              The activities are carried out both on-site and online, and both immigrants and native Finns are welcome to participate. The goal is to learn Finnish in practical situations, together with others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

              Activities also include: <\/p>\n\n\n\n
